Home Exercise Plan

The home exercise plan given to each client is different, designed to specifically target areas to help the progress of your horse. This could include:

  • Massage
  • Stretching
  • Groundwork exercises
  • Ridden or groundwork pole exercises
  • Weight shift exercises
  • Ridden exercises

Home exercise plans can:

  • Strengthen target muscle groups
  • Prevent tightness in overworked muscle groups
  • Encourage changes in weight bearing
  • Encourage changes in gait patterning
  • Encourage postural changes
  • Increase flexibility
  • Reduce pain in compromised joints
  • Increase core strength
